My 15 Somethings for Januaryish (Part 2)

Hey friends!

Here is the second part of my Somethings, as promised.

Something Sad

I’m all alone.

My sister headed back to college last month. Cedarville isn’t too far away, but it still feels weird. We’ve been together my entire life, and now she’s gone. *sniffs* Gone!

Ok, maybe I’m being dramatic, but still. Darn growing up.

Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen. The last two months were a bumpy ride. Read more

Why I Quit College (and What I’m Doing During my Gap Year)

My choice to leave Cedarville has nothing to do with the school itself. Cedarville is fantastic. I’ve learned things and met people I will never forget.

My decision has everything to do with writing. If college has taught me anything, it’s that I am a writer, not a graphic designer. In my opinion, it is pointless to spend thousands of dollars pursuing a major I don’t want to use after college. Read more

I’ve Been Tagged for a Thing

Morning!

I’ve been tagged for the Liebster Award! That means I get to answer a bunch of fun questions posed by another blogger.

Thank you nominating me, Tania (@Write Owl). As far as I know, you’re the first person to tag me, so thanks! *Hands you the first-person-who’s-ever-tagged-Gabby award*

1. Do you enjoy classics or do you think they’re boring and overrated? (I’ll try not to judge you if the latter is the case :P)

I do enjoy classics! I’m currently in the middle of The Count of Monte Cristo. At least, I was before I started Brandon Sanderson’s books. But I will get back to you, COMC! I promise! Read more
